Prepare iPad for DigiReception
If you have ordered an iPad via DigiReception, you can skip this step, have we already done it for you!
Go to “Settings”
- Swipe down on the Apple home screen > search for “settings”
Settings
- Bluetooth > Off (all this is not necessary)
Reporting
- Show preview > Never
Control panel
- Both switches > Off
General
- Settings > General > Keyboard > All options off
- Info > Give company name > Location > City
- Software update > install the latest version (update)
- Airdrop > Off
- Handoff > Off
- Multitasking > Off
- Refresh in background > On
- Date and Time > Set time zone by country of use (AMS) (not automatic)

- Brightness > At 75% (consumption / load balance)
- Automatic lock > Off
Privacy
- Location facilities > Off
iTunes Store An App Store
- Automatic update > Off
- Install with your own ID at the App Store > Install the DigiReception Check-in App
- Drag the app in the bar > Under the arrow
General
- Update IOS only if we ask by email > Otherwise DigiReception may be unusable until an update!
- Within 2 weeks > The App is suitable for a new IOS
- Preferably use the iPad > Exclusively for DigiReception
- If a password is repeatedly requested > Remove and reinstall the DigiReception Check-In App
- Accessibility > Custom view > Adjust OFF automatically
Set up iPad restricted access
- Settings > (on the iPad itself
) - General > Accessibility > Guided access
- Switch on
- Enter a code (and remember/keep it)
- Do not set time limits
- Disable activation button
- Follow automatic turn on screen lock
If you now start the app on the iPad and then press the home button 3x, you can start the “guided access” mode.
You can get out again by pressing the home button 3x again, followed by the access code set in point 2.2.

You can register and unsubscribe quickly so that there is a clear overview.
Paper visitor registration
The short version is: you may not share personal data without permission. Registration in the form of a list at the counter is therefore no longer permitted from 25 May 2018.
